Verdi's Requiem

After weeks of rehearsals, the specially formed choir and orchestra came together for a fantastic performance of Verdi's Requiem. Competing with the men's tennis final at Wimbledon, we still managed to nearly sell out!
The choir was put together just for the event and was made up of people who sing regularly with other choirs and those who hadn't sung for some years. Some comments from the choir:
"thoughly professional, well organised - and quite exillarating!"
"it was great fun, I'd love to do it again."
